Carbon Leapfrog has a highly innovative business model using the pro bono support of businesses to reduce carbon use and emissions. Their target is to support projects to achieve a 500,000 tonnes CO2e reduction in 2013 and their vision is to be a catalyst for a low carbon economy.
Carbon Leapfrog- supported projects fall into three main work streams:
- delivering carbon reduction and renewable energy projects at the grass roots, community level
- helping early stage carbon innovators and social entrepreneurs accelerate their business plans
- delivering carbon reduction and renewable energy projects in developing countries
Working with Symonds and Symonds sponsored MBA students, Newleaf supported the development of Carbon leapfrog's new organisational strategy.
