Understanding the sustainability performance of suppliers is the first step to achieving your sustainability goals.

Some suppliers are pro-actively addressing sustainability issues in terms of the products they source, their own supply chains and the direct impacts of their own business. Others are willing to do so but might need a bit of guidance and support. The remainder may not yet see the reason for change.

Newleaf works with businesses to assess the environmental and ethical performance of their suppliers - in terms of CSR performance, governance, business certification and environmental management controls. We also work for manufacturers to support compliance with customer’s sustainability standards and policies, providing training and capacity building where required.

Our simple traffic light system highlights to procurement teams the risks or opportunities each supplier presents according to an organisation’s specific set of risk factors.
